报告题目：Selenium, redox biology and aging

报告摘要：The Gladyshev lab works in the areas of redox biology, selenium and aging. In this talk, I will use one of mammalian selenium-containing proteins to illustrate mechanisms of redox control, advances in the genetic code and the role of trace elements in biology as well as discuss the nature of aging and mechanisms by which lifespan can be adjusted.
